Only a few weeks ago we were running an outreach event for Busu and the 7 nearby villages, at our medical centre. We conducted blood tests for HIV, Malaria and other sexually transmitted diseases. We also screened for breast cancer and cervical cancer and gave family planning advice and contraception services. We treated people for Malaria, Diabetes and many other illnesses. Saving lifes every day!

We had also taken on a huge project, de-worming over 650 pupils at Busu primary school.

How times have changed now!
We are all at war in different forms in different places. We all face new challenges when this is over but together we will overcome. Denis.

Electricity for Suubi

Those who have followed us over the years will have seen our struggle to connect Suubi Medical centre to the hydro electricity. Having power would make a difference because we would be able to use electric equipment and even carry out basic surgical operations and use a dental chair and things like that

.
We want to give this one last push. Our total bill is £2900 but we have £1700 so we need to raise £1200 to make it happen. We need some monentum to push this so that we end the 5 year long wait for electricity. Can you help with this drive?
