A DEVASTATING SECOND WAVE OF CORONAVIRUS IN UGANDA HAS CAUSED A SHARP RISE IN ILLNESS AND DEATH.

This new wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is already proving to be far more widespread and severe than Uganda saw in 2020.

Hospitals have been running out of beds and oxygen supplies, with health services around the country overwhelmed by a sharp rise in demand.

People living in the poorest and most disadvantaged communities are suffering most, with limited healthcare. Many who have avoided the virus are struggling to work during lockdown and unable to feed their families.

We request those who can give to our appeal for Uganda, help us respond to urgent and desperate needs.

Electricity for Suubi

Those who have followed us over the years will have seen our struggle to connect Suubi Medical centre to the hydro electricity. Having power would make a difference because we would be able to use electric equipment and even carry out basic surgical operations and use a dental chair and things like that

.
We want to give this one last push. Our total bill is £2900 but we have £1700 so we need to raise £1200 to make it happen. We need some monentum to push this so that we end the 5 year long wait for electricity. Can you help with this drive?
